Mörkö (Groke in Finnish) used to hunt my childhood nightmares and in some Finnish study she was voted the most frightening character ever. If you've read the books she isn't nearly as scary as in the animated version. Phew, just thinking about that episode gives me the creeps.. But when you think about it she's just lonely. Poor thing.
Anyway, nice work! You captured the feeling very well, I can almost hear her growling. Black woods, a trademark for Groke. If Tino can handle Berwald I'm sure he can manage with this lone wolf as well. (NOT)
I know, I get so Jealous of them sometimes...I'm like I wish I could be that Small in weight, but then I give up because it's an unreachable goal so I go back to liking my weight for the most part.
That passage and how you drew the picture work very well with each other...Too bad we'll never know what Fin thinks about this...
Well I don't like him like that, I always tend to flirt with guys (Occasionally girls, but their harder to flirt with sometimes) all the time, I once talked about Military Jets, Guns, and I forget what else with a couple of guys <~Flirting techniques, bs your way through the things they like, Unless it's guns, I kinda like guns...and vehicles are kinda cool anyways<~Reads Gun magazines sometimes. But he isn't like nerdy like I have been used to with like the guys at my High School were. *Shrugs* I suppose he's cute, but I'd probably not date him, But he is giving me a ride to our fieldtrip on WED, in his car, so I'm kinda stoked about that *And he'll know where I live too 'cause he's dropping me off afterwards*...To me flirting can be just about anything...*Apparently I can also do it without realizing it, was told this once by a guy*
I really like Strikeout......it helps when I've used ** and ()() too much
I know, right? That's the thing that throws me off in mangas sometimes. BESIDE the almost identical faces. The character's body structures are almost always the same. In reality, there are so many different body types and shapes...
Yeah, I like variety (Though I will always Adore Tall Guy characters(Also goes for Gals too); Sharp Male features (Soft mostly for female, unless she's you know...a Badass character/Heroine then maybe sharp characters). OH Glasses are a must (though that only just puts them higher on my list), and Historal outfits/Storylines...ECT I would contrinue but I'd ramble like two more paragraphs)...
I like realistic manga's too, because of the variety, of course the one I'm going to refer to is kinda weird: Jisatsu Circle, I like the realisim in it...
Clones suck (unless for some reason they...*trails off*)
Yes I'm very Foxy, someone else said that (Who is in two of my college classes)....*listening to Numa Numa...and it's stuck in my head*
Hufsa :3 (The Groke in Norwegian). My cousin (one year elder than me) was afraid of Hufsa, while I felt sorry for her/him/it having to be alone... and she/he/it just wanted friends. D:
When my mum tried to scare us from using our stairs to the ground floor (which were dangerous - because we could trip in the stairs easily) she told us Hufsa were down there... so we shouldn't go down there. My cousin froze with a ''OAO''-face as I ran downstairs to find her/he/it... XD
This was the first thing who stroke my mind when I looked at the photo. And at first I thought it was Norway instead of Finland when I watched the Deviation in the micro-window; because morra is morning in Norwegian... but in dialect; not the standard one. owo
It is actually an adorable name. XD It is pronounced Húf-sá. :3
Indeed... my mum hardly read the books for me, though. I watched Mummitrollet (The Moomins in Norwegian, and I dunno whether I spelled The Moomins correctly) on TV, and we had some films with them too. :3 I could watch them... but then I ''murdered'' the vhs player. XD (I put a film in it the wrong way, and it got broken... muahahhaha.)
Morra is pronounced må-rrá. :3 Yes, å is actually one of our letters... XD we have the same one as the English alphabet, but with Æ, Ø and Å at the end (æ, ø and å).
(Np. owo I liked it veeeery much. -stares at Hufsa- ^w^)
Thank you so very much ♥♥♥ A Groke is a creature from the Moomin books by Tove Jansson. It's a creature nobody likes. Any place it would stand or sit on immediately freezes over and nothing will grow there ever again. In reality, all the Groke wants is some warmth and light and maybe,a friend
It's a creature from the Moomin books by Tove Jansson,a Swedish-speaking Finnish novelist. The Groke used to disturb me as a kid, everything around it always freezes. It doesn't speak but just goes around, seeking for warmth and light.. It's actually just an understood being,at the end of the last book I felt quite sorry for it
In Germany we also call it "Morra"... Just recently my friend and I talked about how much we were scared by the Morra as kids xD And when I saw your picture I just had to laugh so much! But I really like it ;D I imagine their meeting as quite interesting...
